Jalyn didn't allow Lyon to have pets as she understands the amount of commitment one needs to keep any animals. But when Lyon brought home his first hamster without telling his mother, that's when everything went downhill. She realised that she cannot beat the game and decided to join in after Lyon did the same trick by bringing home Snoopy in 2018.

Jalyn is now the grandma to all of the doggos, and has committed all of her free time to them. She didn't allow dogs to enter her room at first but now Charlie sleeps with her every night.

Jalyn is the Creative Director of InArts Collective, and she is an accomplished theatre practitioner, director, choreographer and actor.
